I am Celay only to my close friends. I am a 20-something computer-something in a multinational IT-something bank something company who has been blogging since July 2004. I was once a barista in my past life for seven months. I am not at all a geek but in fact failed a couple of subjects in college. A true blue Atenean (from Davao to Manila. Playschool through College) committed to a die-hard Lasalista, I live to prove ludicrous customs wrong. A non-conformist at heart, do not ever attempt to bring up the subject of religion! This is not to say I am an atheist…probably agnostic.

I believe pop-culture ruins the essence of several of media.

I am torn between staying in IT industry and pursuing my interest in make-up full time.

But I’m not much of a complicated person, really. Seriously. Honestly.

I am simple. (Dee disagrees)

I wake up, go to the gym (Most of the time. Okay, sometimes), go to work, dinner with my love, go home. That pretty much sums up my day. Exemptions take place when Rockwell is on sale, of course! I relax through exercise (I swear this is true!), coffee, tea, long talks or with a book on a quiet corner. I absolutely love massages! I enjoy my vacations in my pollution-free hometown that is Davao City. I try to go visit the place at least three times a year, when my finances permit it.

I am devoted to my love, Randy/Dee or whatever it is fancy to call him these days. I get too sappy at times especially when I am talking about my undying love for this man but what the hell do you care? I’m in lurve!

This journal is about me, by me and for me. About my stupid excuses, my day-to-day experiences and opinions which I cannot help but voice out. Maintaining a blog is therapeutic. It helps me channel my energy. If you don’t like my blog, then don’t read it. Simple.

I often mention my two nieces, Nina and Julia and my nephew, Mikey. They are the most adorable little things! *pinches all their cheeks* mmmm! *gigil!*

I take pleasure in exploring new surroundings and trying out new things but these days I often stick to routine just trying to perfect good habits. I have been able to discover new things about myself and the people close to me through such.

Right now, I have become quite conscious of my health so along with Dee, I have opted for a nourishing lifestyle with exercise and a fast-food-less, low cholesterol diet.

Someday, somehow, I probably won’t be famous but will be living outside this bribery-infested archipelago. (I thought that moving out of the country was the solution to rid myself of all the bad stuff but I was wrong. No matter how many times I complain about my dear homeland, it is still home. No first world country can ever replace the Philippines in my heart – no matter how progressive they are or how organized or how abundant in all the other things. And it is quite ironic that I had to move to a totally different country to realize how much the Philippines means to me.)

I will lie-low from the IT industry and concentrate on my personal life – taking my future kids to school, attending PTA meetings and preparing meals for my family. That is after I get the confidence to drive on my own. And learn how to cook. (I know how to cook na!)

Dee. Green in more ways than one. Blue in a lot of things too. Brown in things I excrete. And Yellow sometimes too.

Dee. I am just one. Nobody else but me. Alone in myself. But never alone in the world. For they live among me, for me and because of me.

Dee. Receiver and disciple of the Miracle Maker. He alone sees and acts, whenever we need him. Look out for his name, for he will come.

Dee. Creator of luscious and scrumptious culinary experiments which hypnotize the taker into ecstacy.

Dee. Orange Ball. Hoop. Full throttle. Five Defenders. Split the double team. Break the ankles. And One. Purple and Gold’s 24. Check the stripes.

Dee. 4 and Lady versus Pocket Rockets. All in. Flop comes Four, Four and Queen. Wins the pot!

Dee. Happiness come in small packages. Small but terribly loved by me. Same and different at the same time. I heart you.
